Like Christian Dior, artist Sam Baron has always been inspired by flowers—when he was young, he even spoke to them in his own secret language. “Botanical references were the first patterns used in any culture, which links us all,” he observes. That intimate bond has now found expression in his collection of poetic glassware for Dior Maison. The statuesque vase (it measures nearly three feet tall) echoes the shape of the original Miss Dior perfume bottle from 1947, wreathed by impossibly delicate vines brought to life by Italian glassblowers.
