Venetian-born designer Alvise Orsini took a page from the seaside cabanas at the Lido in Venice, where he grew up, to splash the space in floor-to-ceiling blue-and-white stripes, whitewashed wood, and beachy wicker and rattan. Inside, you’ll find Orsini’s hand-blown, striped Murano glass tumblers, vintage J.McLaughlin scarves and handbags, and more limited-edition summer must-haves.

It’s a cause that hits especially close to home for Weezie co-founder Liz Eichholz, who spent her own childhood summers at camp in Texas Hill Country. “This collection was always about honoring slow summer days,” Eichholz and co-founder Lindsey Johnson explained. “Now, it is also a tribute to how precious those days really are.”

Beth DavisDaunted by paint choices? Designer Beata Heuman has teamed up with British heritage paint company Mylands to solve your color woes with a highly edited, versatile collection of 24 hues she considers “The Dependables.” The palette offers everything from Beata White, the designer’s go-to neutral, to calming blues and greens to rich, deep shades for punctuation. Mylands is one of the few remaining companies using natural earth pigments, which produce paints that are richly colored, long-lasting, and earth-friendly. The collection is available in the U.S. via Eagle Paint.

Francesco LagneseAttention, design history buffs: You will soon be able to own—or at least bid on—your very own piece of The Temple, Veere Grenney’s legendarily chic country estate in Suffolk, England. Presented by Dreweatts auction house in London, the sale will include more than than 150 lots of furniture, lighting, art, and more from the Palladian house, which once belonged to David Hicks. (There will also be a handful of items from Grenney’s former London residence on Portsea Place.) While the auction itself won’t take place until September 3, the catalog officially goes live on July 29, which means you’ll have ample time to plan your bidding strategy.
The Wabi Sabi Collection by Patterson Flynn
The Color Field wool flatweave rug in Wildflower melds color into an impressionistic, blurred ikat.

Switchback, a wool flatweave in Natural, brings softened geometric form to neutrals.
Courtesy of Patterson FlynnNamed for the Japanese design philosophy that finds beauty in the imperfections of the handmade, this new rug collection from Patterson Flynn “honors the quiet poetry of craftsmanship.” Inspired by ikats and Japanese patched boro textiles, and made from hand-dyed natural fibers, these deceptively simple designs celebrate the beautiful irregularities that are inherent in handcrafted works of art.
