Emily Joubert Home & Garden, Montecito
In-the-know Bay Area shoppers flock to the Emily Joubert San Francisco and Woodside, California, boutiques for delightful patterns and exclusive European designs. Now, owner Judy Siebert is heading south with a brand-new Montecito outpost. Overflowing with vibrant table linens, block-printed and Belgian linen fashions, chic lighting, handcrafted furniture, and culinary treats, it’s the place to find the perfect gift or treat your home to a cheerful refresh.
Mark D. Sikes for Samuel & Sons
The first collaboration between designer Mark D. Sikes and trim virtuosos Samuel & Sons, the Orange Hill Farm Collection is inspired by Sikes’s idyllic country retreat and citrus farm in Ojai, California. The collection of luxe yet versatile cords, borders, and fringes is grounded in Sikes’s timeless affinity for stripes, checks, and rosettes.
Peter Dunham at the New York Design Center
Los Angeles-based designer Peter Dunham plants a flag in Manhattan with his exuberant new showroom at the NYDC. Walking into the bursting-with-pattern space is bound to make you smile. From his signature Fig Leaf print to colorful paisleys, ikats, florals, and stripes on pillows, lamps, rugs, and made-to-order furniture—Dunham’s European roots, global travels, and California ease are all melded into one glorious home.
Loeffler Randall for McGee & Co.
Lifestyle guru Shea McGee has teamed up with fashion designer Jessie Loeffler Randall to produce a charming, feminine tabletop collection that draws on Loeffler Randall’s signature details—think scallops, broderie, and ruffles. The deep-ruffled tablecloth is, in fact, made from Loeffler Randall’s plaid dress fabric woven with tiny intarsia flowers. Scalloped-edge ceramics, fluted glass candlesticks, and lace-edged cushions add grace notes to the collection.
Kate Hawkins for CommonRoom
Adorned with cat’s eye motifs and spongeware-inspired squiggles, artist Kate Hawkins’s latest collection for London–based textile and wallcovering brand CommonRoom is a transatlantic ode to Mochaware, the slip-decorated pottery that originated in 18th-century Staffordshire before becoming synonymous with 19th-century American folk art.
