Leather has been an infallible material in the home for centuries. Our ancestors found so many uses for the humble hide—and through the years, it’s been reinvented thousands of times. Right now, I’m all about reinterpretations both modern and classic, from intricately woven baskets and sculptural stools to origami-like bags and even a leather floor lamp—all sustainably made—that are as artful as they are durable. And, as we all know, leather only gets better with age!
