GAZEBO BY VEERE GRENNEY
“In 2010, I was renovating my house and carrying around tear sheets for inspiration of an amazing project by an unknown designer from Australian Vogue Living. Two months later, I was the Editor-in-Chief of Veranda magazine and, low and behold, I was introduced to that very same designer whose name I learned was Veere Grenney. I’m proud to say I was the first to publish his work in the US and, when I joined Schumacher, I called
him right away to see if he would partner with us on a collection. This is now his third collection for Schumacher and it might be his very best. It incorporates all the ingredients that make Veere’s work so special– a bit of romance with a hint of the exotic and a restrained masculinity all at once.”
“Both exotic and familiar, and based on a wall treatment in his house in Tangier, Jake has been surface printed so it looks hand-stenciled.”
Betty, Wallcovering, Quiet Pink 5009870, Available in 3 colorways
Betty Chintz, Fabric, Quiet Pink 178400, Available in 3 colorways
“Veere often uses floral chintz in his work in the most sublimelysophisticated way. This one is all his own and destined to be an instant classic. I’m particularly enchanted with the the neutral colorway.”
“Perfect in every way.
What more would you expect from Veere?”
